Cookie Banner & Consent Mode with Google Tag Manager – GTM Tutorial Lesson 7

In this Google Tag Manager lesson, you’ll learn how to set up consent mode and connect it with a cookie banner on your website. We’ll walk through configuring Google Tag Manager so your tags only fire when people have agreed to the use of cookies. This means your implementation will be privacy-friendly and you’ll still be able to collect important data using modeled insights in Google Analytics 4 (GA4). We’ll also add a free, open source cookie banner to your website using GTM – no extra tools needed.
