Epic Vintage Market Tour: Antique Décor, Rare Fashion & Unseen Collectibles!

This is such a great place to see, shop and learn about antiques and vintage! We're at the last Rose City Vintage Market in Portland, Oregon, where style-focused antique decorators, vintage fashion gurus and masters in everything from costume jewelry, Blenko glass and art pottery to novelty clocks and vintage prints are gathered to sell and tell about their favorite treasures! The show starts with vintage barware, old vending machines and rich antique silver overlay glass as we tour aisles filled with desirable collectibles from all over the west coast. Collectors and dealers travel here from all over the country, and they're bringing their best...and telling us all about it! We talk to the owner of an amazing English carrousel horse, visit with a longtime vintage fashion dealer (yes, the Chinese gown is centuries old) and learn why Yupuk tribal hats are going back to their original tribes! There's so much to see at this big antique and vintage event, and our eyes are popping as we see the great ideas other vintage dealers have...a vintage fashion booth with a dressing tent, repurposing of kitchen appliances into lamps and crutches into fish sculptures, an MCM style awning that pulls together the space into a cohesive room look...these professional antique and vintage resellers and stylists have a lot to teach us, and some really cool things to sell us as well! In the process, we do a little show and tell ourselves, showing off everything from Keane prints to Wolfard lamps to antique Czech jewelry and some really cool art pottery we had this summer.
