Séchage et stockage des maïs populations à la ferme

Self-sufficiency is a central concept in peasant farming and the principle of food sovereignty. With the industrialization of agriculture, this self-sufficiency has gradually disappeared. This film, produced as part of the Cultivating Biodiversity program in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, is aimed at farmers who wish to implement an alternative to purchasing hybrid seeds and selling their harvests to cooperatives. It presents the various drying and storage methods available for harvesting open-pollinated maize varieties, whether for self-consumption or on-farm processing.
