मेरठ के खरखौदा थाना क्षेत्र में स्थित जामा मस्जिद को लेकर बड़ा विवाद सामने आया है। प्रशासन ने मस्जिद के इमाम को नोटिस जारी करते हुए दावा किया है कि मस्जिद का निर्माण थाना परिसर के लिए आवंटित सरकारी जमीन पर किया गया है। राजस्व विभाग की रिपोर्ट के आधार पर 7 दिन के भीतर निर्माण हटाने का निर्देश दिया गया है। A major controversy has emerged in Meerut's Kharkhoda area after the local administration issued a notice to the Imam of Jama Masjid. Authorities claim that the mosque has been constructed on government land officially allotted to the police station premises.
