This video shows trains arriving at and departing from Osaka-Namba Station, a junction served by the Kintetsu Namba Line and Hanshin Namba Line (filmed during the weekday evening rush, roughly 16:30 to 19:00). Featured are various Kintetsu trains—including limited express models like the "Hinotori," "Urban Liner Plus," "Urban Liner Next," and "Vista Car (Vista EX)," as well as Rapid Express, Express, Semi-Express, and Local services connecting to the Nara Line—and Hanshin trains running through to the Hanshin Namba and Main Lines (bound for Amagasaki and Kobe-Sannomiya). Due to heavy rain caused by a typhoon, there were changes to the number of cars and the types of rolling stock used for limited express services. Many of the new "8A Series" trains, which entered service in October 2024, were also spotted. The station features an underground layout with two platforms and three tracks, serving as the boundary between the Kintetsu Namba Line and Hanshin Namba Line; Platforms 1 and 2 serve trains bound for Kintetsu-Nara and Nagoya, while Platform 3 serves trains bound for Hanshin-Amagasaki and Kobe-Sannomiya. Kintetsu Nara Line trains terminating at Osaka-Namba, as well as out-of-service trains, also arrive at Platform 3 before departing empty toward Amagasaki (reversing at the siding tracks west of Osaka-Namba Station or west of Hanshin Sakuragawa Station). Kintetsu limited express trains originating at Osaka-Namba departed from both Platforms 1 and 2. Trains bound for the Nara area originating at Osaka-Namba usually enter Platforms 1 and 2 from the Amagasaki side; however, one "Hinotori" service (bound for Nagoya) arrives directly at Platform 1 from the opposite (Nagoya) side after being deadheaded from the depot.
