On July 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn proceeded to Chulalongkorn University. On this occasion, she laid a wreath in homage to the portraits of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn and His Majesty King Vajiravudh, the Great Kings of the United Kingdom. Following this, Her Royal Highness proceeded to Room 114, Maha Chulalongkorn Building, to meet with Her Royal Highness Princess Anne, Princess Royal of the United Kingdom, younger sister of His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom, on the occasion of her visit to Thailand from July 16-17, 2026. This marks her fourth visit to Thailand, following visits in 1972, 1979, and 1987, to further the long-standing friendship between the Thai and British royal families, as well as to promote cooperation in all dimensions that will benefit the quality of life of the people and support the sustainable development of both countries in the future. Regarding the visit to Chulalongkorn University today, Her Royal Highness Princess Anne, Princess Royal of the United Kingdom, Her Royal Highness viewed an exhibition of scientific, technological, and innovative works by Thai female researchers supported by the United Kingdom. She also officially opened the exhibition and presented grants and awards to women in science and technology, reflecting the close cooperation between Thailand and the United Kingdom in promoting research, innovation, and human resource development in science for sustainable development.
