Sami Shamanism & Polytheism: Ancient Nomads of Scandinavia, Beliefs, Deities
A significant majority of folks around the world aren’t aware of the Sami. This semi-nomadic people have moved throughout Scandinavia for thousands of years. Much like the natives here in the States, there has been significant persecution and decay of ancient beliefs. Thankfully, there is a lot to learn from these Eurasian transients. These peoples are the connection between the Finnish and the Siberian Shamanism that are distant relatives to tribes of North America. This session teaches us the history of these people, their spiritual beliefs, and how this relates to what we’ve learned throughout the course. This session was inspired by a suggestion.
