Steepest Road in the World? | My Epic Welsh Coastal Adventure

Two days. Hundreds of miles. Some of the most spectacular riding roads in Wales. In this episode of Adventure Bike Chronicles, I set off from the abandoned coastal village of Nant Gwrtheyrn and begin an unforgettable motorcycle journey down the Welsh coastline. From breathtaking mountain roads to dramatic sea views, this ride had everything. The adventure takes me over the infamous Ffordd Pen Llech in Harlech — often called one of the steepest roads in the world — before crossing the iconic Barmouth estuary bridge and continuing south through the stunning Welsh coast. The destination? The beautiful city of St Davids and its majestic cathedral, followed by an incredible wild-style camp overlooking Whitesands Beach as the sun drops into the Atlantic. Day two turns north through the heart of Mid Wales, taking on twisting mountain roads and the legendary Gospel Pass — one of the highest and most scenic roads in the country.
