EXCLUSIVE WITH MARK BOTTOMAN
Mark Botomani previously served as Malawi's Minister of Information during the past regime. He was one of the most influential members of the then-governing Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and a favorite of the party's president, Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika. However, in a surprising turn of events, Botomani became a strong critic of President Mutharika and openly expressed his support for another critic of the president, Kondwani Nankhumwa. In January 2024, Botomani, Nankhumwa, and others were expelled from the DPP. It remains unclear whether Botomani will join another political party and where his loyalty lies between Nankhumwa and Mutharika. In an exclusive interview, we caught up with Botomani to learn more about his current stance. #zodiaktv #zodiakmalawi #malawi #exclusiveinterview
