Makeup Artist Chat: Adjoa Mkwananzi

This week on Makeup Artist Chat, I am talking to Adjoa Mkwananzi, a a Ghanian born but New Zealand trained enthusiastic makeup artist currently living in Australia. After a not so pleasant experience with her own wedding makeup, Adjoa didn't want other people to go through what she experienced, so set about becoming a makeup artist herself. Coupling her makeup skills with her training as a mental health nurse, Adjoa is all about ensuring her clients FEEL just as beautiful as she helps them to look. Realising the difficulty of finding the right products for people of colour in Australia and New Zealand led Adjoa to develop her own line of comets and she is the lead MUA at Xceptional makeup & cosmetics with a specialty in bridal and special occasion makeup for all complexions.
