Germany is changing. And with it, the lives of everyone who lives, works or is simply looking for a safe home are changing. Today, we’ll talk about how the German welfare state can bring a person with a low income up to a million euros in a lifetime — and why, at the same time, others contribute millions from their own pockets to this system. And also — how part of the taxes already paid can be legally reclaimed. We’ll figure out why the BAMF has effectively slowed down integration language courses and what this means for refugees, including Ukrainians. We’ll see why, with more than three million unemployed people, the chances of getting out of the Jobcenter into real employment are minimal, and how the attack on Teilzeit is changing the rules of the game for those who work part-time. We’ll talk about why for an honest negative review on Google in Germany you can get not “thanks for your feedback”, but a letter from a lawyer, and we’ll end with a fresh political barometer. All this and more, and most importantly - how it directly affects us - in our today's issue. ____________________________ RT TAX link to the registration form - https://rttax.com/uk/registration/?ad... Since December, as the German Association of Further Education Centers writes, the agency has not approved a single new permit to participate in integration and language courses. The course organizers were not warned about this in advance, people sign up, groups are formed — and the “good will” from the BAMF simply does not come. The German Economic Institute in Cologne calculated that if you take an ordinary single person with a relatively low income — up to 2,500 euros gross per month — then over the course of his or her lifetime, he or she will receive an average of about 1.08 million euros from the state. This includes pensions, medical care, care, various social benefits and services. At the same time, such a person returns about 300 thousand euros to the system in the form of taxes and contributions. The net “plus difference” is about 780 thousand euros. Online reputation in Germany has long become part of the business: Google reviews decide where you go to see a doctor, where you get a haircut, and which restaurant you take your family to. But an investigation by the German TV channel n-tv showed that the system is not as transparent as we think. I, Oleg Polishchuk, and you are on the channel “Germany in General and in Particular”. I have been living in Germany for more than seven years, and Germany holds a special place in my heart. This channel is all about life in Germany from my personal perspective.
