FCBF Bible Study 06/24/26: Understanding the Teachings of Jesus

Tonight, we’re continuing our study, so we may grow in our understanding of the words and teachings of Jesus. This study is designed to aid in clarifying common misconceptions about the parabolic and often veiled teachings of our Lord, provide piercing insight into the mysteries of the kingdom of God, and aid in the discovery of the hard gate that leads to the narrow way leading to eternal life that few ever find. As we journey through the gospels— Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John we will take a deep dive into the personage of Jesus the Christ, the Parables, and all the Red-Letter words of Christ. We will drill down into the depths of his words, empowering us to imitate our Lord and actualize true and complete FREEDOM. It is impossible to be like Jesus if we don’t know what he said, why he said it, and the implications his gospel of the kingdom of God holds for us as his sons and daughters.
