Sound design with Ableton Spectral effects: Turn drums into ambience & field recordings into chords

Like most DAWs, Ableton Live has a broad range of effects. Some of these are pretty self- explanatory – such as reverbs, EQs or delays – while others take some exploring before you really discover what they're capable of. Live's suite of Spectral effects fit into this latter category. They're unusual and a little weird, but with a bit of know-how they can create some truly unique, next-level effects. In this video, Ableton Certified Trainer Tom Glendinning explains how to use Spectral Time and Spectral Resonator effects to warp and manipulate sounds.
