In September 2014, a decades-long era came to an end, during which I crisscrossed Europe in heavily laden campervan rigs – packed with canoes, kayaks, windsurf boards, sailboats, catamarans, land yachts, and more. Age, health, budget, and life philosophy now make it advisable to return to my roots. This means downsizing – in terms of vehicles and equipment! So, in September 2014, we equipped our three Dacia cars with mattresses so we could continue sleeping in them while on tour. And of course, all three vehicles – a Dacia Logan, a Dacia Dokker, and a Dacia Duster – also have tow hitches and roof racks, so we can still take some outdoor sports equipment with us. How we proceed with disarmament and conversion will be demonstrated here using the Dacia DOKKER as an example.
