Triton TRA002 3 1/4 HP Router: Initial Impressions and a Warning

Spoiler alert: I do not recommend this router. If you're thinking about buying one, you should watch this first. If you already own one of these, you should watch this anyway to see if yours has the same issues and you just didn't notice it yet. For a little background, this is a review of the Triton TRA002 3 1/4 HP router, which is the new-and-improved version of their TRA001 3 1/4 HP router that you might be used to seeing. The TRA001 had good enough reviews that when I saw that the TRA002 was the upgraded version, I decided to give it a shot. I was excited about making this my new slab-flattening router, but over the past three weeks my excitement has been depleted. Despite my less-than-optimal experience, I am open to having my mind changed if new information presents itself.
