100th Bomb Group, Thorpe Abbotts Airfield Tour - Part 1
My Website - https://www.sacarr.co.uk Instagram - @century_bombers Thorpe Abbotts Part 2 - • 100th Bomb Group, Thorpe Abbotts Airfield ... This is the first of a two part video, taking a tour around the old airfield. Most of the pictures and video, date from around 1994. As a result, the pictures are mostly scanned prints, and the 4:3 format video, has been converted a couple of time, from the original VHS magnetic tape. This part of the tour, takes us around the North and Eastern sides of the airfield, before moving into the technical site. Check out the on screen link at the end for a fly-over of the airfield, taken in 1997. A second video will cover the accommodation sites, the main communal site, the bomb dump and West side of the airfield.
