Explanation by Ustaad Qari Mansoor || 07 Dhoul Hijjah 1447 H || 24 May 2026 HADITH REFERENCES: 1. Adab Al Mufrad: 618 / Abu Dawood: 1516 Narrated by Hazrat Abdullah ibn Umar (R.A): We counted that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would say a hundred times during a meeting: "My Lord, forgive me and pardon me; Thou art the Pardoning and forgiving One". رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي، وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ 2. Sahih Al Bukhari: 3293 Allah's Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If one says one-hundred times in one day: "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the Alone Who has no partners, to Him belongs Dominion and to Him belong all the Praises, and He has power over all things (i.e. Omnipotent)", one will get the reward of manumitting ten slaves, and one-hundred good deeds will be written in his account, and one-hundred bad deeds will be wiped off or erased from his account, and on that day he will be protected from the morning till evening from Satan, and nobody will be superior to him except one who has done more than that which he has done." 3. SHUAB UL IMAAN:3780 Narrated by Jabir ibn Abdallah, the Prophet (ﷺ) stated: "There is no Muslim who stands at the station of Arafat in the evening, facing the Qiblah, and says: 'La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir' (100 times), then recites 'Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad' (100 times), and then says: 'Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin warala ali Muhammad kama sallayta 'ala Ibrahima wa 'ala ali Ibrahima, innaka Hamidun Majid, wa 'alaina ma'ahum' (100 times), except that Allah the Exalted says to His angels: 'What is the reward of this servant of Mine? He has glorified Me, declared My oneness, magnified Me, praised Me, and recognized Me.'"
