#bivaccofravort #lagorai #trentino Today we're climbing to the summit of Monte Frafort, in the Lagorai Group, to discover the new bivouac built by the Frassilongo-Roveda Alpine Group. We'll start from the Panarotta 2002 ski lift parking lot, where the management provides campers with numerous parking spaces equipped with electricity. Parking is available for a fee in the winter and free the rest of the year. PARKING COORDINATES: N 46°03'01.01" E 11°18'59.78" We'll start at an altitude of 1,760 meters and reach the bivouac after about 2.5 hours of walking at an altitude of 2,347 meters with a 587-meter elevation gain. This hike is one of the destinations of the "I Magnifici 14" 2022 initiative, promoted by Tecnosci Sport of Trento in collaboration with Montura. An all-season route; in winter, it's a classic ski mountaineering route and can be climbed with snowshoes, while hikers with a minimum level of fitness can tackle it on foot, given the steepness of the final section.
