She wanted to help them and she got injured. He heads for Reyhan’s room. He wants to knock at her door but he thinks that may look weird because it is a bit late. He changes his mind and goes back. Tulay and Inci visit Julide. Inci wants to see this poor girl Julide has been helping during the day. Julide says the girl slept inside after she ate something. Inci sees the cardigan on the chair. She says it smells like Elif. Then Emirhan intervenes with his toys and Inci forgets about the cardigan and the smell. Tulay and Inci are meters away from Elif but they don’t see her. Reyhan goes to the kitchen for having some water. Kerem comes, too. He thinks Yildiz is there. So he calls her loudly. Reyhan can’t swallow her water. Kerem apologizes. They share a smile and start chitchatting. Reyhan drops the glass and it breaks into pieces. Kerem squats and collects the broken pieces. Reyhan says she can do it but Kerem talks about her feet and injury. One thing leads to another… and Kerem implies that he falls for her. Not a direct sentence… a sentence like he is confessing to himself. Kerem now knows… he is sure he loves this girl. In his room when he is alone, he can’t help thinking about her. Cafer beats his wife Sema at home. Elif is nowhere to be found the whole day and this is quite a problem. He blames Sema. In the wool store Tulay tells Veysel about Leman’s threats. She lowers her voice so that Inci can’t hear. Veysel says it is not that easy for a landlord to cancel a renter contract. Elif wakes up in the morning. Julide sets the breakfast table but she has one egg. Emirhan and Elif share the milk. Their glasses are half full. Elif thinks she is being a burden to them. She understands they are poor. Julide goes to Emirhan’s room to dress him up. When Elif is alone, she leaves the house. Julide panics. Emirhan thinks maybe Elif didn’t like him and left. Reyhan is still stumbling when she walks. Kerem sees her. He understands her foot is still aching. He tells her to sit. He goes inside and takes some medicine. He hold Reyhan’s foot and tends the bump. As he holds her foot, Parla enters. Kerem vocalizes the bump. Kerem says the bump needs good care and interest. As he talks, Parla utters Kerem’s name and goes mad. Reyhan rushes to the kitchen. Her feelings are buried deeper than Kerem’s. She has some but they don’t come to the surface like Kerem’s feelings. Parla keeps shouting at Kerem. She says he will lose her if he keeps behaving like that. Kerem doesn’t back down and they start quarreling. Humeyra enters and sees the way they are. Parla keeps humiliating Reyhan. Kerem storms out. Humeyra calms Parla down. She says this is not a way to win Kerem’s heart and she needs a better plan. Elif is on the streets again. She has a small loaf of bread in her hand. She left Julide’s house because she doesn’t want to be a burden to her. Parla scolds Yildiz when she gets her coffee. She thinks Kerem treats the servants too nicely. Humeyra warns Parla.
