Giovanni, aka Bazar, was born and raised in Bologna, a musically and culturally vibrant city. At a young age, he became a resident at Grapevibe, a city party that allowed him to grow technically and gradually develop his musical taste. From a fortuitous but not coincidental meeting with Francesco, aka Naska, originally from Trapani but Giovanni's neighbor in Bologna, the Massone Warehouse project was born: a genuine and curated platform that for several years hosted artistic performances by various DJs from the Bologna scene and beyond, taking place in the basement of the building where the two live, which was used as a music space. The project then expanded beyond the walls of the garage of Via Massone 15, both producing events in the city and playing together as a duo for countless parties. In 2022, during an inspiring weekend spent in London at Fabric, Bazar met Gregorio, aka Grem, with whom he began collaborating to this day on the organization of the party he founded, Maze, primarily curating the after parties. Frequently sharing the booth, Grem and Bazar developed a similar musical taste that gave the party a distinct identity, centered around US deep house and UK tech house. Bazar is currently part of the organization of The Yard party, alongside dear friends Plein, Giacomo, and Weather Report. Over the years, Bazar has graced the decks at clubs and parties such as Lion & Lamb in London, Magik Bar in Rome, Veniceberg in Verona, and Studio Stereo in Barcelona, performing alongside artists such as Raresh, Apollonia, Ryan Elliott, Laurine & Cecilio. A passionate film enthusiast, he has also curated several short film festivals in his city over the years, screening films and documentaries related to the history of electronic music and beyond.
