Chronic Kidney Disease affects many areas of a person's life. The physical and emotional impacts bring fear, pain, and deprivation, and sexual life is also affected. The act itself can be impaired by the lack of libido caused by the disease, but other biopsychosocial aspects also bring discomfort and suffering to the patient facing the disease. To discuss this, we brought to Pró-RimCast the psychologist and master's degree holder Solange Imhof, who addressed the topic in her master's thesis and used as a research source the patients she treats at the CTDR clinic in Jaraguá do Sul.
