We know human health, animal health, and the health of our environment are connected. But what does that mean in practice? Within agrifood systems, livestock sit at the heart of this nexus. Embedding One Health policy in livestock farming can bring major benefits for the environment, food system resilience. It can reduce the risk of zoonotic disease and antimicrobial resistance, and support communities and livelihoods.
