We had the pleasure of welcoming Iranian classical concert guitarist Ghazaleh Shahparrad. She developed her technical skills and musicality through studying with Jorgos Panetsos at the Music and Art University of Vienna (MUK) and Margarita Escarpa at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna(MDW). Ghazaleh Shahparrad works as a guitar teacher and performs as a concert classical guitarist. She possesses a remarkable sense of musicality and plays the instrument with a beautifully smooth touch and a warm tone. She will be performing works by Roland Dyens, a fascinating piece by Dusan Bogdanovic dedicated to the Iranian classical guitarist Lily Afshar, Francisco Tarrega, and Napoleon Coste.
