VW Golf GTI Clubsport vs Civic Type R vs Megane Trophy: ARRANCONES

It's time for some front-wheel drive hot hatch drag racing! Mat's in the Renault Sport Megane Trophy, going up against a Golf GTI Clubsport and a Civic Type R! So, on paper, how do they compare? Well, first, we have the Megane, which has a 1.8-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing 300 hp and 420 Nm of torque. It also weighs 1,368 kg. Next to the Renault, we have the VW Golf GTI Clubsport. Under the hood, it has a 2-liter 4-cylinder engine, but it has less power than the Megane, capable of producing 300 hp and 400 Nm. It's also slightly heavier at 1,461 kg. And finally, we have a Japanese competitor, the Honda Civic Type R. It has the same engine size as the Golf, but with slightly more power, generating 320 hp and 400 Nm. It's also the lightest of the group, at 1,358 kg. There's one key difference, though: while the Megane and GTI are automatic, the Type R is manual! Does that make a difference? There's only one way to find out... let the racing begin!
