Sweden - A Journey to the Wilderness Road - Part 1.

We head to Sweden for a 15 night overland trip to southern Lapland, the route north took us from Hull to Zeebrugge, then a full days driving to Lubeck where we caught a Finnline ferry to Malmo and then journeyed up through southern Sweden to the forests of central Sweden. There's not much off-road in this series, the routes we took were mainly sealed roads but we searched out forest tracks when and where we could. Nevertheless, it was a great journey which focused upon wild camping in the wilderness and just generally enjoying the outdoors. We hit a few cold weather fronts but that was half of the fun! This was our second time in Scandinavia and each time it has delivered a great overland trip. Sweden is definitely worth a visit.
