To treat myself after a long and exhausting day, I made a warm Tomato Pork Stew using fresh, seasonal tomatoes and budget-friendly, delicious pork front shoulder.. The flavor was absolutely mind-blowing..! Party members, do you have a specific comfort food you eat on tough days? 🍅 Tomato Pork Stew Recipe [Ingredients] 500g Pork front shoulder / 3 Tomatoes / 1 Potato / 1 Carrot / 1/2 Onion / 1/2 Broccoli / Garlic to taste / 1 Chicken stock cube (10g) / 1 pat of Butter (10g) / Salt, Pepper [Steps] 1.Chop the potato, carrot, and onion into large pieces, and dice the tomatoes relatively fine. 2.Season the large chunks of pork shoulder with salt and pepper. 3.Heat oil in a pan, sear the pork until golden brown, and set it aside on a plate. 4.In the same pan, sauté the carrot, potato, onion, and garlic until the onion turns translucent. 5.Add 2/3 of the diced tomatoes and cook while mashing them down until the mixture turns a rich orange hue. 6.Return the seared pork to the pan, and pour in just enough water to slightly submerge the ingredients. 7.Once it comes to a boil, crush and stir in the chicken stock cube. Reduce the heat to low, cover with a lid, and simmer for 40 minutes. 8.After 40 minutes, add the remaining tomatoes and broccoli, cover again, and cook for another 5 minutes. 9.Turn off the heat, toss in a pat of butter, mix well, and serve! 0:00 Ending a long, tiring day.. 1:25 Making tomato pork stew 4:46 Eating stew with the cat
