In 1969 John Rowles returned to NZ as the country's first bona fide pop superstar, hot on the heels of international success with If I Only Had Time...some amazing footage showing John returning to his roots, visiting a marae then rehearsing for a series of shows in NZ... sitting beside him at one point none other than the fabulous Alison Durbin....the late 1960's King and Queen of NZ pop music!
