Jan Peerce - Carnegie Hall Recital (11/10/1964)
During the month of December, Dead Tenors’ Society marks the 40th anniversary of the death of celebrated American tenor Jan Peerce (1904-1984), whose 50 year career encompassed opera, concert, radio, television and the Broadway stage. This recording was made during the tenor’s November 10, 1964 Carnegie Hall recital. Peerce, at age 60, is still in magnificent voice as he presents a diverse program of arias and songs.
