Woodturning - An olive-ash salad bowl from a seasoned bowl blank - Long Version (ASMR ish)

Turning of a salad bowl from olive ash. The bowl blank used for the making of this bowl has been air-dried for 1 1/2 years. It was cut from a beautiful piece of olive-ash that came down in a storm about 2 years ago. My neighbour generously offered me to source it from his forest by the cost of a big salad bowl... what a nice trade! The outside is cross-pattern sanded on the outside. The inside was sanded to 600 grit and sprayed with water to raise fibres and create a smooth flawless surface. I used a blend of natural oils and waxes to create a food-safe finish that aged well in use. The oil-wax mixture was melted inside the wood by using a heat lamp. Thanks for watching!
