Every year on this day (Kaveri Sankramana) the spring (holy water) takes birth and fills the Gundige in River Kaveri’s birthplace - Talakaveri in Coorg with thousands of kodavas gathering to take a dip. This Kaveri Sankramana, lets take a pledge to love the different forms of Nature which have been given to us in abundance. Kodava or Non-Kodava, nature is something which should be available to everyone around. So, lets stop fighting over her, littering her and misusing her and instead be grateful to use and embrace her in the best way possible!
