Firstly, I've taken an example to help you understand the meaning of metacentre and Metacentric Height. I've explained it with the help of diagram. After this , I've started the derivation of Metacentric Height and discussed the formula which is used to calculate the Metacentric Height. The formula consists of known weight, weight of vessel, angle of heel, displacement. After this, I've performed an experiment to help you understand the Metacentric Height. At last I've discussed the stability condition of a floating body viz. Stable equilibrium, unstable equilibrium and neutral equilibrium with the help of m.
