He was born in 745 AD in the area of ​​Mubadan in Bostam, a famous city of Khorasan in the Kumis province adjacent to the capital of Iran, Tehran. Hazrat Bayezid Bostami Rahmatullahi first came to Sindh from the Persian region and then came to Chittagong from there. The place where he chose to build a khanqa on the top of Kumadhan hill in the Nasirabad area of ​​Chittagong for worship is now known as the Dargah Sharif of Bayezid Bostami Rahmatullahi. At the foot of the Dargah hill, there is a three-domed Mughal-style rectangular mosque and a large pond. And there are turtles and gajar fish in the pond. Regionally, they are called Madari and Gajari.
