Preserved Midland Red North ECW Leyland Olympian: EEH 902Y

Back on January 1st, 2024, Some 7 months ago (I'm so behind on heritage videos lmao), Was this year's Chester and Wrexham Heritage Running Day - A now regular event on the Merseyside Rally Scene organised by Stagecoach Merseyside's George Walker, in support of Nightingale House Hospice. For 2024, I focused mainly on photography, as there was a lot of duplicates from last year, Meaning this is the only video I recorded throughout - This lovely 1983 Eastern Coach Works bodied Leyland Olympian, new to Midland Red North. It had a relatively simple life, operating with MR until 1994, Later passing to Stevensons of Uttoxeter and later EnsignBus for onwards sale, before passing through various smaller operators - Going into brief limbo in Cornwall, before being preserved later in the year. It's now 41 years old, yet, it sounds as good as the day it was new!
