Florence Caquetá 2021 | The Golden Gate of the Colombian Amazon Florencia is a Colombian municipality, capital of the Caquetá department. It is known as (The Golden Gate of the Colombian Amazon) The city was officially founded on December 25, 1902 by Father Doroteo de Pupiales, and named in municipality on June 17, 1912. Since then it holds the title of CAPITAL of Caquetá.
