3000ft of Climbing on Zwift Queen Stage!

Zwift Epic Race : The ZG25 Queen Stage. 45 kilometers. 3,000 feet of vertical gain. The ZG25 Queen route is legendary for a reason : it’s a relentless, heavy section of climbs that leaves nowhere to hide. After my somewhat less than perfect spring and some tactical experiments in the lower layers, I decided to jump into this Epic race to see exactly where my threshold stands. This wasn't about the "Breakaway" tactics we saw in Stage 1; this was a pure war of attrition. The Race Intel: The Route: ZG25 Queen Stage (45km / 3,000ft elevation). The Challenge: Sustained climbing at threshold post-recovery. The Verdict: Did I have the "snap" back, or is the Queen still in charge? How do you pace a 45km race with this much climbing?
