Freedom Farrowing Pens in France

10 sections with 24 pens in each. 10-week cycle. A sow comes in one week before farrowing and stays in the pen with the piglets for four weeks after farrowing. The pigs stay in the pen alone for the next 4-5 weeks. There is a Combi-Feeder in the pen so that a sow gets feed slowly and, at the same time, teaches the piglets to eat. A stainless steel trough is designed so a sow and piglets can eat from it.
