STARGATE SG-1’s Amanda Tapping Loves the Fandom – Interview

Amanda Tapping from Stargate SG-1 spoke to us about Stargate rumors, her journey into directing, and her thoughts on the fandom in this interview. Amanda will be appearing at Shore Leave 44 in Lancaster, PA, on July 27th and 28th, 2024. Amanda Tapping played Captain/Major/Lieutenant Colonel Samantha Carter on Stargate SG-1 and also reprised that role on Stargate: Atlantis and Stargate Universe. She is also known for playing Dr. Helen Magnus on Sanctuary, Naomi on Supernatural, and Dr. Perrow in Travelers. Other roles have included parts in Motherland: Fort Salem, Package Deal, Killjoys, Space Milkshake, Earthsea, Flash Forward, and many more. She will be heard in the upcoming project Levels. She is also a director, having directed episodes of Stargate SG-1, Sanctuary, The Flash, Batwoman, Dark Matter, Van Helsing, Continuum, Primevil: New World, Dead Boy Detectives, and the upcoming Murder in a Small Town.
