Rainer Mountaineering Gear Guide Less than 30 LB Full Comfort

This is the gear I used last weekend while climbing the Disappointment Cleaver Route on Mount Rainier with a group of friends. In this video, I go through my complete setup from the trip, including my clothing system, sleep setup, shelter, glacier gear, climbing equipment, hydration, and the Cold Cold World Chernobyl pack I carried everything in. The full gear list came to approximately 34.2 lb / 15.5 kg. With my approach clothing and shoes worn, my estimated dry pack weight was around 30 lb before adding food and water. Team gear such as the tent and rope can make a major difference depending on how the load is divided between climbing partners.
