Light showers are expected in KwaZulu-Natal and along the eastern escarpment, while, by Sunday, some clouds and scattered light rain may reach the Highveld. An upper-level trough forming over the west will bring isolated thunderstorms to the southern parts of South Africa, and additional light showers are forecast for the Lowveld of Limpopo Province, with a slight possibility that a few showers may spread into North West Province and adjacent areas of the Free State Province and Northern Cape Province. Otherwise, the majority of the country will remain dry and tranquil.
