Shajāni-l-bārihah Ṣawt al-Ṭarabشجاني البارحة صوت الطرب - Habīb Ali al-Habashi

A qasīdah in which the great Imām of the Ahl al-Bayt, Habīb 'Ali bin Muhammad al-Habashi رضي الله عنه yearns for the company of the elite of the believers, the Men of Allah, as well as professing his enamourment of the Beloved of Allah ﷺ. Recited here at a Tarīmi wedding in the presence of some of the greatest Men of Allah from the prophetic household of our times, including Sayyidī al-Habīb 'Umar bin Hafīḍh. This is how the righteous in the blessed city of Tarīm, Hadramawt conduct the weddings of their offspring, celebrating by rejoicing in Allah, the Beloved ﷺ, and the Awliyā, thereby witnessing an abundance of blessings within their marriages and rarely ever having to resort to divorce.
