Take a walk with me in Zamboanga City in Mindanao Philippines. IS IT SAFE? Located in the province of Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga City in Mindanao is called the "City of Flowers", and is one of the busiest ports in the Philippines. Fresh seafood is very popular in Zamboanga City, and if you ever make it here, check out Paseo Del Mar, lots of places to try some local seafood. This video was taken during the week long celebration of the Hermosa Festival, also known as the Fiesta Pilar. This was my first time walking here, and I have to tell you, it was exciting, and the people were super friendly. I'm not going to lie, I felt a little hesitant at first hearing rumors about the dangers of this area, but to be honest, I did not feel at all threatened, and the people "in my experience", seemed friendlier than many parts of Luzon. Now would I recommend visiting this place? I my experience, absolutely. But my experience may be different from yours, and as always, be cautious wherever you go.
