Amar Upadhyay on leaving Mihir Virani behind, gender discrimination, lack of film offers| Flashback

Amar Upadhyay saw humongous success when he entered the Hindi TV industry with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Mihir Virani. However, he chose to quit the show at a high point and in the latest episode of Flashback with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar, the actor opened up about that, revealing if he considered that a mistake and whether he regrets it. He spoke about the lack of film offers as well, even after delivering a success like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 last year. Amar shared if the film industry has been kind to him or not, and what made him choose TV over films. The actor is currently seen in the Colors’ show Doree and he discussed how gender discrimination is still a major issue in our country. Being a father to a daughter, Amar opened up on the obstacles he faced and how his daughter brought with her the title of ‘Superstar Of Indian TV’ for him.
