I was worried about whether she would be able to take the screening because it was an unfamiliar place, but she managed to make it! It was her first developmental screening in a year, and I saw some progress compared to the last time. I also learned how to interact with her in the future, so I'll keep that in mind when interacting with my daughters in the future. Developmental disorders are invisible, so it can often feel difficult, but you're not alone. Let's overcome these challenges together! When raising a child with autism, children with developmental disorders are often perceived as difficult or selfish.
