Andrea Chiș spoke about the courage to choose the truth, which she associates with authenticity and fidelity to one's own values. She discussed the importance of taking a stand in the face of problems in the justice system and the decision to give up her position as a professor at the Faculty of Law, which she described as a toxic environment for many legal professionals. She emphasized that integrity sometimes involves making difficult choices in order to remain in line with one's own principles. In her vision, it is precisely this sincerity towards oneself and others that can generate real and lasting change. Andrea Chiș is a former magistrate and former professor at the Faculty of Law at UBB. Throughout her career, she has been actively involved in debates on the rule of law, the independence of the judiciary and institutional accountability. Noted for the rigor, clarity and balance of her public interventions, Andrea Chiș brings to the civic space a perspective built on solid principles, ethics and practical experience. Through his voice, he constantly contributes to the dialogue about justice, rights and public accountability, supporting a deeper understanding of the role of institutions in a democratic society.
