BLACK SABBATH - "ELECTRIC FUNERAL" [DRUM COVER]

I recorded this one in December of last year but got sidetracked with a new project I'm working on, and never got around to editing the video. With the recent news of Ozzy passing away (RIP), I felt like I needed to make the video happen. Therefore, I present to thee: more Sabbath drum covers. "Electric Funeral" may not be one of the most challenging or technical drum tracks out there, but the feel is infectious and it definitely is one of my favourite tunes on the "Paranoid" record (and from Sabbath in general). I love Ward's laid back approach and his subtle hi-hat work, as well as the creative time signatures in the breakdown. In honor of the original recording and Ward's early drum kits/sound, I broke out my 1960's Sligerland Kit (20/16/13) and paired it with the classic Supraphonic snare drum. Thanks for tuning in.
