Vibe Coding BrandSOS Part 4 — Building the Intelligence Layer In this episode, we take BrandSOS from a prototype into a real working intelligence system. Today we focused on turning anonymous “cries” into structured brand intelligence — the core engine behind Ungizwe. What we built today: Designed and finalised the database structure for brand topic intelligence Linked user-submitted “cries” directly into the core data table Added a voting system so users can agree with insights (support weighting per topic) Built backend logic to update num_supporting in real-time Improved the search + listing experience for brand sentiment breakdowns Refined the UI so insights feel more like a live intelligence dashboard Started shaping how raw emotion becomes measurable, trackable signal data The goal: To turn messy human expression into something structured, searchable, and useful — without losing the emotional truth behind it.
