This recipe serves 4. #ChineseFood #Let'sCookTogetherRecipes #Let'sCookTogether #Let'sCookTogetherChineseFood Ingredients: 26 large shrimp, peeled and deveined. 1 large head of broccoli, cut into florets. 2 tablespoons sesame oil. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil. 1 onion, sliced. 4 garlic cloves, minced. 1 piece of fresh ginger (about 2 inches), peeled and finely chopped. 1 red bell pepper, sliced. 1 green bell pepper, sliced. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 tablespoons oyster sauce. 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce. 2 tablespoons dark soy sauce with mushroom flavor. 1 cup quinoa. 2 cups water. Chopped green onions (optional, for garnish). Toasted sesame seeds (optional, for garnish). Instructions: Rinse the quinoa under cold water to remove excess starch. Then, place it in the rice cooker along with the 2 cups of water. Cook the quinoa according to the rice cooker's instructions until tender and the water is completely absorbed. While the quinoa is cooking, heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sesame oil and vegetable oil. Add the chopped onions, garlic, and ginger to the pan. Sauté for a few minutes until fragrant and lightly browned. Add the red and green bell peppers to the pan and cook for a few minutes until they begin to soften. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and are cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Then, remove the shrimp and vegetables from the pan and set aside. In the same pan, add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and mushroom-flavored dark soy sauce. Stir well to combine and heat the mixture until it begins to simmer and thicken slightly. Return the shrimp and vegetables to the pan with the sauce. Add the broccoli florets and cook everything together for a few minutes until heated through and coated in the sauce. Serve the shrimp and broccoli over cooked quinoa. Garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds, if desired. That's it!
