Metek Sound System est bien plus qu’un simple collectif de musiciens, c’est une Tribe qui a parcouru la France, l’Europe et l’Amérique du Nord pendant quinze ans pour faire découvrir sa musique et propager les idéologies du mouvement underground inspiré notamment par les célèbres "Spiral Tribe". Metek a été à l’initiative de l'organisation de plus d’une centaine d’événements rassemblant de 500 a 50 000 personnes : free party, teknival et autres manifestations urbaines … Toujours actif, le crew a su tisser un réseau de contacts à travers l’Espagne, l’Italie, l’Autriche, l’Allemagne, la République Tchèque, la Hongrie, les Pays-Bas, le Canada et les USA. Basé sur cet esprit, leurs label "Metek Records" et structure de production "Metek Production" sont indépendants et diffuses ses œuvres essentiellement dans les milieux dit "Underground" sous forme notamment de LP 33 tours. Fidèle à un style tekno old school, Metek offre à travers leurs albums une palette des différents styles musicaux qui ont rythmé leur parcours : breakbeat, techno minimale, techno progressive, Tribe (tekno), hardtek, Techno hardcore, acidcore, et electro. Metek was instrumental in organizing over a hundred events, with attendance ranging from 500 to 50,000 people: free parties, teknivals, and other urban gatherings. To this day, the crew has built a network of contacts across Spain, Italy, Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary, the Netherlands, Canada, and the USA. Based on this spirit, their label, Metek Records, and production company, Metek Production, are independent and distribute their works primarily in the "Underground" scene, in the form of LP 33 records. True to their old-school techno style, Metek offers a range of different musical styles through their albums, including breakbeat, minimal techno, progressive techno, Tribe (tekno), hardtek, techno hardcore, acidcore, and electro.
