Daily meditation to work on self-regulation through the vagus nerve and thus stimulate holistic health of body, mind, and emotions. Good morning, loves 🦋🦋🦋 Today I propose a short meditation for day or night that serves as daily regulation of the vagus nerve. You may have heard of the vagal ladder, where the highest rung (the ventral part of the vagus nerve) is ideal for maintaining holistic health and feeling connected to others and to the world, a sense of security and calm. Inevitably, life presents us with dangerous situations in which other responses come into play, such as fight/flight or freeze, but it is important to know how to self-regulate to help this vital nerve recover its parasympathetic tone, that is, to calmness and tranquility. This exercise serves to stimulate this regulation. I sincerely hope it helps and is useful to you.
