This video shows the Setsubun bean-throwing party for 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds at our nursery school. Since this video was edited on the day, it may be a little unsightly. Please forgive us! Setsubun is here again this year! The brave older children, growing year by year, threw beans at the demon. 👧👦 Even when the older children tried to catch them, they were so quick that the demon had no time for them. 🙄 The power of children is incredible... 👟 Many of the children were so focused on practicing bean-throwing that they didn't even notice the demon approaching, but many of them helped their friends and threw newspapers at the demon, representing beans, in an effort to defeat it.
